My focus is on what I can do for my community.

After 20 years of working for the Insurance Industry I felt burnt out, unmotivated and I wasn’t making a difference.  I craved a feeling of connection to my community and sought to carve out a future in which I felt I made a difference in this world.

Three years ago I was faced with a question, what is my Why?  This question was very powerful for me at a time I felt I needed direction.  As I started to really look internally for this answer I discovered it was actually a very easy question to answer.  My Why is my husband and two young children.  Once I answered the question everything became clear and Cardinal Points Medical Billing was created.

As I thought about my vision for Cardinal Points it was evident to me that my focus was on what I can do for my community.  Working in the Insurance industry allowed me to see the inside workings of the Industry and it’s given me the knowledge to help those around me.  The Insurance industry doesn’t make it easy to navigate as a lay person and can be very frustrating to get the benefits reimbursed back to you. This is where I’m able to step in and offer my services.

My focus on Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy practices' is it's an underserviced area in which I feel deserves more attention. Therapy practices change lives of the people that seek it's benefits. I've personally witnessed these benefits at different points in my life and ultimately changed the direction in which I was heading for the better. It's the approach to patient care that I can appreciate and hope to enhance with my services.

The creation of Cardinal Points has empowered me and giving me the connection I had been seeking.  I love my job, my partnerships with my providers and the life balance which brings me full circle.
